Carla Campbell has a professional yet comforting way of taking the stress out of real estate. We were kept very informed of the status of our sale from signing with Sotheby's through closing. All of the processes involved with appraisals, inspections, land assessments, etc were both advised and explained for the most expedient outcome. Our realtor, Carla, helped us find a vacation home and helped us realize the importance of maintenance free living as a second home. Carla was so helpful throughout the entire process. First of all, she grew up in Rehoboth Beach and knows everything about the town. She drove me through the town and showed me an honest view of the good and bad sides, adding a local’s insight to the changing marketplace there. She really listened to what I was looking for and went out of her way to contact people to who might be interested in selling. Once we picked a place she handled all the negotiations and I ended up getting the place I wanted at a price that made both me and the seller happy.
When I went to Delaware for the settlement she helped me find a hotel that would take dogs.
After I bought my condo she continued to help me by recommending contractors who ended up doing an amazing job. I needed help managing the upgrade projects, since I don’t live in Delaware, so she kept a set of my keys at her office to give to contractors who did some of the work when I wasn’t there. She even lent me a ladder when I was painting. Then she hooked me up with a rental agent so I can rent the place for the summer months when I’ll be out of the country.
My place looks great now and is exactly what I wanted. I can honestly say it wouldn’t have happened without Carla.
