We did not choose Carol Ann Pala- she chose us! On a beautiful October weekend, we visited Lewes coming from WV and we stopped in front of her downtown office and looked at brochures and pictures of houses for sale. Carol had her office door open, joined us and asked what she could help us with. Her friendly, open attitude and relaxed way of dealing with clients is refreshing and produces results!
When she found out that we were ready to find our retirement beach home she sprung into action and invited us to go with her on a trip to look at some developments and we hopped into her car.
It took us several weekends of visiting Lewes and surrounding areas to find our dream home but Carol never hesitated to do everything to find out what we liked, wanted, didn't need, couldn't afford and what we didn't want to do without! So she knows us now better than the folks we call relatives!
Her energy and enthusiasm for her job are limitless and her people skills are impressive. She is always thoroughly prepared for the showings and knows how to make even impossible requests work out. Her dedication to us and our needs was incredible and when we were told that our dream house already had two offers she moved mountains and counseled us on how best to proceed to make a successful bid.
When she texted us one evening at 10 pm, "Are you guys awake?" my heart almost jumped out of my chest because I was almost sure that she was ready with some exciting news and "voila", that was it!

We are so lucky to have met Carol Ann! Fresh off the ferry we stopped by her real estate office to get information of the local area. Immediately I felt
comfortable talking to Carol Ann and let her know that we were exploring the area for a future home.
The next day, Carol Ann gave us a very thorough tour that really showed us the Lewes and Rehoboth Beach area. She drove giving us a chance to relax and enjoy the scenery. Based on what we told her, our desire to live close to town, bike trails, fishing and a community pool, she was able to find the right place for us. But not to jump ar the first place we saw we expanded our search on the second visit and met with her again. This made us realize that Carol Ann knew exactly where we were meant to be which was the first place she showed us.
