Stephen Dunne’s journey has taken him from soldier in the armed forces to home inspector, real estate investor, attorney, and licensed REALTOR® available to serve your real estate needs. After immigrating at age 12 from Ireland with his family, Stephen began working thirty hours a week in restaurants throughout the Delaware Valley, often washing dishes, mopping floors, and serving customers while attending school. He enlisted as an Infantryman in the United States Army on April 7, 1997, in Fort Benning, Georgia. Three years later, Sergeant Dunne became a naturalized US Citizen on September 21, 2000.
With the help of the GI Bill, Stephen graduated from Penn State University in 2000 while serving as a cadet with the U.S. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Stephen graduated from New England Law | Boston in 2005, where he was a Dean’s List recipient and President of the Environmental Law Society.
Prior to launching a real estate law firm, Stephen worked as a contract attorney in both Boston and Philadelphia on global patent infringement and commercial litigation matters. In 2009, he founded Dunne Law Offices, a law firm committed to helping people throughout Philadelphia protect their properties by negotiating mortgage loan modifications, facilitating short sales, selling and purchasing distressed properties while honing his skillset as a transactional attorney.
Stephen’s attention to detail, exceptional listening and communication abilities, coupled with superb negotiation skills, are invaluable assets to his clients. He is involved with the local community in a variety of organizations, and he and his wife, Kathryn, have four children attending the Cape Henlopen School District.
