Nick Smith’s passion for the real estate industry started when he was a teen growing up in Kent County, Delaware. The son of a builder and mortgage company owner, exposure to every facet of home ownership started young. Working as a carpenter in his family’s construction company, Nick learned what it takes, literally from the ground up, to build and finance a home, and provide a quality product with excellent customer service. As a real estate agent, he brings his foundation of loyalty, integrity, hard work and creativity to every relationship and transaction.
Nick studied accounting, marketing and business management first at Clemson, then at University of Delaware. He worked for Merrill Lynch as a Junior Financial Advisor for a few years, and then made the permanent move back to real estate, where his true passion lies. In the last four years, Nick’s business has flourished. His success comes not only from a deep understanding of the industry and the factors that impact it, but also from Nick’s genuine love of the process, and his ability to always put his clients first and listen to their needs.
