Ocean Atlantic’s Sandra Ware is Elected to the 2006-07 United Way Board of Directors

Sandra Ware, commercial real estate specialist for Ocean Atlantic Agency in downtown Rehoboth was recently elected to the board of directors for the Delaware Chapter of United Way. The mission of United Way is to “Improve lives by mobilizing the power of communities”. Ware, a strong believer of this mission and a supporter of family and children, will serve on the board for a three-year term. As an active board member, Ware’s responsibilities will include garnering support for the United Way of Delaware Campaign and representing United Way of Delaware in the community outreach. When asked about the goals for the newly elected committee, Sandra Ware responded “The board was formed to help United Way of Delaware achieve their mission of reaching out to more children in need, providing more training for day care workers and helping more Delawareans with special needs to live and work with increased ease and freedom in the community.”

Ware, extremely dedicated to her community, is also actively involved with the Positive Growth Alliance, Sussex County Republican Woman’s Club, National Federation of Republican Women Bylaws Committee, Rotary and Beebe Medical Foundation. As a native Delawarean, Ware strives to be a responsible caretaker in the state she loves.
