Steven Billups photos

Delaware Renewable Energy Co. hosted the Renewable Energy Fair Saturday, April 12, at Crabbers Cove in Dewey Beach. The event offered the public information about vari-ous renewable energy options. Panel discussions included members of various companies and organizations who addressed energy options such as solar power, energy effi-ciency, wind power and geothermal heating. Shown above discussing power usage of different types of light bulbs are Lance Manlove, left, president of ZeroEnegy, with fair patron Stuart Gary of Lewes. ZeroEnergy is a building contractor affiliated with Schell Brothers, which designs and builds environmentally responsible homes.

Above right, Dan Schworn, left, vice president of environ-mental services for JCN, discusses an infrared scan with Dan Roussos of New Castle. JCN of Harbeson can provide an energy audit and develop a prioritized retrofit plan to deliv-er a more efficient home.
