Sussex Realtor Auction Raises Funds for Needy Children

The Sussex County Association of Realtors held its annual fundraising Realtor Community Service Auction Thursday, Oct. 18, at the BayCenter in Dewey Beach. The auction raises funds to help provide food and gifts for the needy in Sussex County at Christmas and also provide grants to worthwhile causes in Sussex County. This year’s auction raised $ 65,000 from the 300 plus Realtors in attendance.

Ocean Atlantic’s 5 Gables Inn and Spa package brought in a high bid of $ 1,000 from Bob Reed, while Strauss was high bidder at $ 3,000 on the Rehoboth Long & Foster’s Park City, Utah trip.
