Before too much time passes, I wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put in to make sure Tommy and I would get the Oyster Bay condo. We love it – and are even enjoying the daunting task of furnishing a whole house with Memorial Day looming in less than two months!
I was warned by a number of friends – including some Washington, DC realtors – that we should think twice before bidding on a short sale property. They said it could take nine or more months and then it could result in failure.
While you were equally straightforward about the challenges ahead, you proceeded like you were on a mission. Your thoroughness was amazing. Not only did you make sure all the various parties quickly signed off on what needed signatures, you kept us informed of any progress as soon as you knew something. It was never the “black hole” we had been warned to expect. We think you cut a few months off what could’ve been a far more painful wait.
The most impressive moment was when you went back to the bank with the appraisal and successfully convinced them to lower the price accordingly. At that point, both Tommy and I were tempted to say “don’t make waves” but you got the job done. It was great to have a champion on our side!

Mr. Healy - As the owner of Ocean Atlantic Sotheby's, in Rehoboth Beach, I wanted to take a moment to recognize, to you, one of your employees, Lisa Nicoletti Chura. I have bought and sold 5 properties over the years and must say she has been the best experience, from all aspects. She is professional, smart, articulate and creative. Prior to signing the listing agreement, in early September of this year, we discussed together, at the property, my properties uniqueness and therefore it's challenges. Nevertheless, she felt she understood it and was confident, if marketed correctly, she could find a buyer. In fact, she did really understand it. She did an outstanding job of capturing the "soul' of this unique property, as evidenced by her marketing materials, and did find that different buyer that would appreciate this property. The sale closed for cash on December 6. Lisa negotiated both sides of the deal and in the end, I believe, had two parties feeling relatively satisfied. Speaking for myself, although I did not get all I had hoped for, I did get what I thought was a fair resolution to my desire to sell the property. Most importantly, and very difficult to achieve representing both sides of the deal, I felt Lisa gave me real, clear and honest input and advice. I felt she had good balance between doing business and personal accountability - integrity! Mr. Healy, I hope you know what you've got with Lisa.

Our ocean-block home was on the market for over a year without an offer before we gave the listing to Jeff and Susie Bond at Ocean Atlantic Sotheby's International Realty. With the help of one of your Realtors, we recently closed on a beautiful home in Rehoboth Beach. Kenny Vincent patiently worked with us since last summer as we searched the area for a home that would be not only our second home, but ultimately our retirement home.
